This lace is interesting: in 2009 I went for a seminar in lace draping with a couple of friends to the "Porzellanmanufaktur Sitzendorf"
https://sitzendorfer-porzellan.de/, and we used this specially made, sized cotton lace to drape to a figurine, drenching the lace in porcelain slip (the cotton lace burns away, the porcelain remains). After drying, low-firing and glazing, it was then high-fired. It was very interesting and not easy to do, but I had a particular interest in the laces. At first they would not sell any since it is old stock and they might not get that quality again, but in the end I was able to obtain a few meters of this lovely lace, so perfect for ruched brims for doll bonnets - or for lace draping!
