Plain, glossy one-sided satin ribbon that has a slightly coarse weave, yet is soft and nevertheless quite pretty (and inexpensive!). Place loops in the shape of an 8 one on top of the other, bind center with matching thread for a lovely bow - much better than a tied bow! Very easy to dye!
