Attaching rivets with the eyelet machine:
The rivet consists of two parts: an upper and a lower part. The upper part is the one showing on the right side. Punch a small hole into the leather, insert the lower part into the hole from the bottom up, press the upper part onto the lower one (it snaps in place), place the lower rivet onto the pin of the bottom die on the machine (the upper die has a small dish for the head of the rivet), move the lever firmly and the rivet is fastened securely.
