AlVintage to antique stock of these unusual sew-ons in many varieties. Made in the 1920s toabout the 1960 (after which the demabnd was no longer these), these unusual mosatly hand-pressed galls sew-ons were stitched to garments and costumes for haute couture and the theater. te Bestände dieser einzigartigen Glas-Aufnähsteine!Viele verschiedene Ausführungen. Use them for making out-of-the ordinary jewelry threaded either with yarn, elastic or wire, decorate garments, make head and hat adornments, or tiny buttons for dolls. the large ones could be furher decorated with tiny hand painted motifs or use those applied to finger nails for a very exclusive button, ring or earring. the possibilities are endless!

Hard-to.-find parasol frames for dolls: total length 27 cm, length of spoke: 15.5 cm, wire spoke diam.: 1.7 mm (nicely thin), wood dowel diam. = 7.7 mm
Wooden handle: 5 cm long - it will be difficult to remopve. Most probably it has to be sawn off.
Some old stock of these lovely double-sided and single sided satin ribbons made in the 1990s in Japan.
Tarlatan was used extensively in the 19th century for bonnets, pettivoats, even ball gowns, also bustles and wig caps plus much more! Similar to crinoline but airlier and lighter!
